Phillip Kiracofe, President
As President, Philip is responsible for leading the Manhattan chapter of the National Association of REALTORS. Representing New York City, as the most dynamic real estate market in the world, is both a humbling responsibility and an unrivaled opportunity to promote the interest of our clients, members, and affiliates. Today's market is changing more rapidly than at any time in history, and requires its leaders to have deep expertise in finance, technology, and sales & marketing. Philip was chosen to lead the association based on his diverse skill set and broad experience leading companies in the real estate, technology, and venture capital industries.
Philip has served on the Board of Directors since 2006, and has been instrumental in projects aimed at improving transparency, disintermediation, and global reach on behalf of agents, brokers, buyers, sellers, investors, and affiliates to real estate transactions. The initiatives for 2009 are bold in nature and audacious in scope, and are reflective of today's market conditions - widespread access to real estate data, the broadest possible marketing and distribution of listings, and the most seamless transactions possible between all parties.
Philip's background is one of the broadest and most varied in the industry. Since his 1994 arrival in NYC, he has co-founded and led a diverse range of companies, including a pioneer online grocery service company (Information Neighborhood), an India-based venture capital fund (Soft Bank China India), an early-stage technology incubator (Rare Medium Ventures), and a NY-based property development firm (Realm Property Group). This breadth of industry exposure, along with first-hand experience at every level of a real estate firm - from agent, to broker, to head of firm-wide sales - ensures that the technology vision is driven by sales and customer relationship objectives.
Philip first became interested in transforming the real estate industry while leading dotcom start-ups that were re-drawing the landscape of one established industry after another during the first internet boom. He joined Prudential Douglas Elliman in February 2003 and quickly co-founded Group360, a team focused on developing innovative real estate practices. By 2005, he was ranked in the top 8% of Prudential agents nationwide. In February 2006, Philip joined Dwelling Quest as COO, where he helped spin off the residential division to form Century21 New York Metro. In less than a year time, it was ranked in the top 0.5% of all Century21 offices worldwide. He joined Coldwell Banker Previews International as Chief Technologist in Oct 2007, and is leveraging the latest innovations to capitalize on the firms unrivaled global network. He is a founding member of Coldwell Bankers global technology think tank, CB iLabs.
In his free time, Philip's interests range from adventure and endurance events (he has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and completed Ironman Lake Placid - twice) to charitable pursuits (he has been a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence and is an active member of The Carnegie Hall Notables). He sits on the Board of Directors for the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and continues to actively support entrepreneurship through involvement with early stage venture financing.
Philip attended the United States Air Force Academy, where he concentrated in computer science and behavioral science, was a member of the elite Sabre Drill Team, and was responsible for training more than 1000 cadets. He currently resides in Midtown West. |

Stephen Nardoni, Treasurer
Steve Nardoni, president of Nardoni Realty, formed the company in 1995, after eight years in the management and brokerage business. He specializes in management and brokerage of cooperative units in Manhattan..
His fascination with real estate began with the purchase of a cooperative unit in Murray Hill in 1984, where he still lives. That purchase induced him to get involved with the building volunteering to be on the Board of Directors, on which he served for four years, two of which as president. In 1987 a career change steered him toward cooperative management and sales. During these years he honed both his property management skills (which are vital to his success as a broker), and his brokerage talents, where he has enjoyed considerable success in sales.
“I’m honored to be able to serve on the Board of the Manhattan Association of Realtors and help promote the benefits of belonging to a true Multiple Listing Service to better serve our clients.”
