Klara Madlin Real Estate Inc. has been in business since 1984. We specialize in the sale of cooperatives and condominiums apartments and townhouses in Manhattan.

Klara Madlin R. E. has a staff of fifteen salespeople, all of them highly trained professionals who live and work in Manhattan. Our policy is to give individual attention and service to both buyers and sellers in our community. Since our firm has been part of the brokerage community we have established a reputation for exceptional service and integrity. We have many contacts in the mortgage and legal area to help customers make this often stressful process as easy as possible. Brokers at our firm often work as a team to make sure that our clients needs are always taken care of. We are not the biggest firm but we are the BEST.

President Klara Madlin recently received certification as a SRES specialist (Seniors Real Estate Specialist)this specialty is designed to help the growing community of people over 50 who have "trapped equity" in their homes. Klara Madlin is the 2008 President of MANAR (Manhattan Association of Realtors). She was a founder of Westpro, a WestSide Broker Association which merged with the Real Estate Board of New York. Klara Madlin is also a member of FIABCI which is an International Real Estate Group. We believe that New York is a part of a Global Network and that we can help sellers and buyers both here and abroad with our personal touch.

Phillip Kiracofe, Vice President

Philip’s background is one of the broadest and most varied in the industry, and has ideally positioned him to lead Century21 NY Metro boldly into the 21st Century. Since his 1994 arrival in NYC, he has co-founded and led a diverse range of companies including a pioneer online grocery service company, an India-based venture capital fund (Soft Bank China India), an early-stage technology incubator, and a regional property development firm (Realm Property Group).

Philip first became interested in transforming the real estate industry while guiding dotcom start-ups to re-draw the landscape of one established industry after another. He joined Prudential Douglas Elliman in February 2003 and from early on, was groomed by the executive management team. In 2004, he co-founded Group360, a team focused on developing innovative real estate practices. By 2005, he was ranked in the top 8% of Prudential agents nationwide.

James Mazzeo, Secretary

Jim Mazzeo is a lifetime New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Jim started in the real estate business in 1974 as a Housing Assistant for the New York City Housing Authority. In 1976 Jim went to work for the Lefrak Organization as a rental agent renting Lefrak apartments in Brooklyn and Queens.

In 1982 Jim went to work for J.I. Sopher & Co first starting with rentals but very quickly moving into selling co-ops and condos in Manhattan, speacializing in the sales of lofts and buildings in Soho and Tribeca.
